We offer all government-funded early education and childcare entitlements available in England, subject to the child and/or family meeting the relevant eligibility criteria and places being available at our setting.

This includes the funded childcare entitlements available for eligible children from 18 months old through to school age, as well as the universal entitlement available to children aged 3 and 4.

The number of funded hours a family can receive will depend on the child's age, individual circumstances and the government's current eligibility requirements.

Funded hours can be used in line with our opening hours, available sessions and admissions arrangements. We will clearly explain how funded hours can be taken at our setting before your child starts.​

Eligibility for funded childcare is determined by the government and varies according to the particular entitlement.

Some funded childcare is available universally, while other entitlements are based on circumstances such as:

• your child's age;

• whether parents or carers are working;

• household income;

• receipt of certain benefits or support; and

• other eligibility criteria set by the government.

Parents and carers are responsible for checking their eligibility and, where required, obtaining a valid eligibility code.

Where an eligibility code is required, parents and carers must apply through the appropriate government childcare service and provide us with the information needed to validate their funded place.

Where required, parents and carers must also reconfirm their eligibility within the timescales set by the government. Failure to reconfirm by the required deadline may affect continued eligibility for funded childcare.

We do not charge parents or carers for accessing their government-funded childcare entitlement.

We also do not charge for meals, snacks, consumables, activities or other extras provided during funded childcare sessions.

There are no compulsory additional charges or fees attached to a funded childcare place at our setting.

We believe parents should be able to access their child's funded entitlement without being required to purchase additional services or pay additional fees.​

We aim to provide a high-quality service and encourage parents and carers to raise any concerns with us.

If you have a concern about your child's funded childcare place, eligibility, funding or any other aspect of our provision, please speak to the Setting's Manager in the first instance.

If the matter cannot be resolved informally, you can follow our formal Complaints Procedure, which is available on request.
